Razer Launches New Opus X Noise-Canceling Headphones

Razer’s products are generally catered towards gamers, but in case you aren’t a fan of the loud blinking RGB lights and the edgy look that usually accompanies gaming hardware, then you might be interested to learn that Razer has since announced a new set of headphones in the form of the Opus X.
Does this sound familiar to you? If it does, it is because it is the cheaper alternative to the Razer Opus that launched last year. The Opus X will come with features like active noise-cancellation so that you can tune out the outside world if you want. There is a feature called Quick Attention that lets in sound from your surroundings, which might be important if you’re out in public and need to be aware of your surroundings.
It is also wireless which means that it could give other wireless ANC headphones a run for its money. However, given that this is a Razer product, the company did sneak in a gaming feature called Gaming Mode that reduces latency over Bluetooth to just 60 milliseconds, something that more competitive gamers could appreciate.
The Opus X boasts up to 40 hours of battery life with noise-cancellation off, or 30 hours with it on. The Razer Opus X is priced at $100 and is available in Green, Quartz, or Mercury finishes.
